With decades of experience in building services coordination and mentoring, David leads the company with a focus on quality, teamwork, and strong client relationships.
David holds an ONC in Building Services and an AutoCAD certificate and has learned much of his craft through hands-on experience and industry mentorship. As Managing Director, he oversees daily operations and guides the next generation of coordinators.
One of his career highlights was delivering AstraZeneca UK – the first fully coordinated services project he led, setting a benchmark for quality and precision.
Outside of work, David enjoys golf and travelling. Fun fact – he once served as fourth official at a Premier League match between Blackburn and Arsenal.
Nathan has worked his way up from a weekend apprentice to company director, bringing over a decade of hands-on experience and leadership to the team.
After starting out in automotive engineering, Nathan moved into building services and quickly proved himself through dedication and practical know-how. Today, he oversees all aspects of the business – from running projects and managing tenders to marketing and company growth.
He’s proud to have built M&E CAD Design into a team known for accuracy and quality. Becoming director after starting as a weekend casual remains one of his proudest achievements.
Outside of work, Nathan enjoys boxing, football, hunting, fishing, and weekend adventures. Originally from Northern England, he moved to New Zealand at age 13 and taught himself a Kiwi accent. He now jokes that part of his job includes “translating” for his dad, whose northern accent can still puzzle locals.
Jeff has over 14 years of BIM experience and a Bachelor of Architectural Studies. He oversees multiple projects, ensuring each one starts on strong technical foundations.
Jeff’s favourite part of the process is setting up the initial model – applying company templates, running Dynamo scripts, and establishing systems that set the project up for success.
He’s particularly proud of the complex laboratory facilities his team has delivered, which required strict coordination and offered valuable learning opportunities.
When not at work, Jeff enjoys family time and exploring the outdoors around Dunedin. He and his family regularly discover remote local spots for weekend adventures.
Dominic brings eight years of hands-on experience in the building services industry, specialising in coordinating projects for accuracy and efficiency. He enjoys the teamwork and problem-solving that come with delivering seamless results.
Dominic has developed his skills through practical, on-the-job experience, which he considers the most effective way to learn. His role focuses on coordinating building services within each project, ensuring everything runs smoothly from design to installation.
One of his proudest achievements was managing the duct and pipework installation for Waitākere Hospital on behalf of Numecon – his largest project to date. It was technically challenging and rewarding, and he’s proud of how well it came together.
Outside of work, Dominic enjoys sports, fitness, and the outdoors. He’s a passionate Warriors fan, loves gaming to unwind, and enjoys family time at the beach or on bushwalks.
James combines his Diploma in Architectural Technology with a creative and problem-solving approach to BIM coordination, turning complex designs into practical, install-ready drawings.
James enjoys developing coordinated models that bring projects to life. He compares his work to completing a puzzle – satisfying to piece together, even when “as builts” arrive to mix things up.
A highlight of his career was completing the North Shore Hospital project, where he coordinated all services and made great connections that continue to this day.
Outside of work, James loves basketball and gaming, always keeping up with the latest releases. He also has a few remarkable stories to tell – from undergoing awake brain surgery to once being the subject of a mountain search and rescue mission.
Ronald is a Mechanical Engineer with over 15 years of experience in the building services industry, specialising in family creation, project setup, and multi-discipline coordination.
A graduate of Cape Peninsula University of Technology in Cape Town, Ronald focuses on resolving coordination challenges and producing detailed, accurate shop drawings that support efficient on-site installations.
One of his proudest career moments was contributing to the University of Auckland Recreation Centre – a technically demanding project that received public recognition for excellence.
Outside of work, Ronald enjoys spending time with his kids, going to the gym, hiking, and immersing himself in nature. While he’s not a fan of running, he can walk for hours without stopping.
Jim brings over 20 years of experience in Building Services Engineering, backed by Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Mechatronic Engineering.
His role centres on collaboration and problem-solving, ensuring projects benefit from the latest digital tools and efficient engineering practices. Jim is proud to have been part of the shift toward BIM-based delivery, despite initially being a sceptic.
Outside of work, he enjoys technical mountaineering and the physical and mental challenges that come with it. His methodical approach to both work and climbing reflects his engineering mindset.
Lewis is currently completing his drafting apprenticeship, gaining valuable hands-on experience in modelling, detailing, and project presentation.
His work involves assisting senior coordinators across various project stages, helping him build a well-rounded understanding of building services design. He particularly enjoys learning from the team and contributing to real-world outcomes.
Outside of work, Lewis enjoys 3D design and printing – a hobby that ties perfectly with his technical and creative interests.
